My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Jake and the Never Land Pirates - The Amber Crew's New Members (alternatively known as My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Gravity Falls and Jake and the Never Land Pirates - The Amber Crew's New Members or shorten to just The Amber Crew's New Members) is a 2035 American musical road film by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. It is a sequel to the films The Secret of Equestria's Landmarks and Briar Beauty Strikes Back besides being the 3rd film in the franchise. It is directed by Jon Turteltaub, produced by both Jerry Bruckheimer and Turteltaub, written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and it's the only film to add characters from the Disney Channel or Disney XD TV series Gravity Falls such as Dipper Pines and his big sister Mabel. The film stars Kristen Schaal, Paul Rudd, Diane Kruger, Ryan McCartan, AnnaSophia Robb, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rose Byrne, Olivia Holt, Abigail Spencer and Dakota Blue Richards. The film focuses on two siblings joining a rock band and a long roadtrip from Maine to Canada.
Synopsis[]
Gravity Falls characters Dipper and Mabel Pines now joins the Amber Crew and embark on a long journey from Maine to Canada! What can possibly go wrong on the long run?
Plot[]
Prologue: Enter the Gravity Falls Siblings[]
The film opens on a sunny morning at the Amber Crew headquarters in Falmouth, Maine where a Carbon Gray Ford F250 Super Duty Lariat pickup truck carrying a trailer with a Donington Gray BMW M5 F90 on it approaches the HQ itself. Upon arrival, out goes the Gravity Falls kiddos who happens to Dipper and Mabel Pines! Once they got to the front door, Dipper knocks the door and the door opens, only to find Amber at the front door, much to their joy. Afterwards, the trio came inside.
After entering, the rest of the Amber Crew are amazed to see Dipper and Mabel again. Given the fact that Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops hasn't met Dipper and Mabel before, they took a chance to do so. In addition, Amber adds that Dipper plays his role on backing vocals and piano while Mabel plays her role on playing a banjo. Lyra allows Dipper and Mabel to join the band, much to their joy and excitement.
Dipper's Concerns on the Amber Crew, Blueberry Muffin Reunites[]
Once nighttime falls, a concerned Dipper has no idea why Amber becomes the band's lead singer until she explains that Lyra, Emelina and Bon Bon befriends with Amber after Sofia left Enchancia. Given the fact that Dipper hasn't heard the names Laura and Sean before, Amber adds that Laura and Sean are Jake and Sofia's children, leaving a shocked Dipper. Due to being unaware that Jake and Sofia have children, Amber adds that Laura and Sean are workers at Papa's Freezeria until Dipper realizes that he and Mabel have played the game Papa's Freezeria before, much to Amber's agreement.
As the sun rises the next morning, a black 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur approaches the Amber Crew HQ and out goes Blueberry Muffin, Huckleberry Pie and Princess Hildegard! The trio enters the house, only to find Dipper and Mabel inside the living room, much to their joy. Realizing that the trio spotted both the Ford F250 Super Duty and the BMW M5 F90, Mabel agrees with their question. Given the fact that Dipper plays his role on backing vocals and piano with Mabel on banjo, Hildegard allows the duo to join the band, leaving behind an excited Dipper and Mabel Pines. In addition, the Amber Crew decided to held a concert in Ottawa, Canada's capital, so the 10 pals depart into 2 separate vehicles.
Meeting Up with Sour Sweet, Having a Campfire[]
Eventually, a white X350 Jaguar XJ8 driven by Sour Sweet followed by her little sister Sweeten Sour sitting next to her and a trio of pals sitting in the backseats: Papa's Pancakeria workers Cooper and his girlfriend Prudence as well as Fashion Flambé sales associate Trishna! Noticing that the 5 pals heard someone singing the song Panama by Romanian DJ singer Matteo from afar, Cooper, Prudence and Trishna agrees with her question. When Sweeten Sour asks Cooper and Prudence about their trip across Equestria with Nahwan Nafisah in the first film, he adds that his trip with Greg and Prudence feels very exhausting inside Nafisah's Escalade V. Given the fact that Trishna hasn't heard the name Nahwan Nafisah before, Sweeten explains that Nahwan Nafisah is a female daredevil who does numerous reckless stunts. Sour Sweet explains to Trishna that a NAHWAN indicates A QUICK LEARNER, AN INTELLIGENT PERSON and CAN DEAL WITH IMPOSSIBLE SITUATIONS, which is what Trishna was thinking. In addition, Cooper adds that Nahwan Nafisah binti Norazianto is Nafisah's original name until she changes to Marjorie Nahwan Stephanie Nafisah upon entering America.
Once the clock strikes 06:00 PM, Amber, Bon Bon, Blueberry, Derpy, Dipper, Emelina, Hildegard, Huck, Lyra and Mabel got to the camping spot where they will be sleeping for the night. All of a sudden, an X350 Jaguar XJ8 shows up and out goes Cooper, Prudence, Sour Sweet, Sweeten Sour and Trishna, much to their joy. Given the fact that Dipper and Mabel hasn't met Cooper, Prudence, Sour Sweet, Sweeten Sour and Trishna before, they took a chance to do so. Around the campfire, a relieved Sour Sweet is happy to have Dipper and Mabel for the very first time. Given the fact that the Pines siblings hasn't heard the name Crystal Prep Academy before, Sour Sweet adds that Crystal Prep Academy is a high school located in Winchester, Virginia known mononymously as the Shadowbolts or in German as Schattenblitze. Nevertheless, Mabel shows off her banjo skills by playing the Angry Birds theme song. Noticing that the Amber Crew are on the run to Canada, a delightful Cooper attempts to join, much to Hildegard's agreement.
Trishna Watches Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Alia Syazleen Meets Jake, Izzy and Cubby[]
The next morning, it's time to depart. In the Jaguar XJ8's rear seats, Trishna is watching the Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates using the 2 monitors sticking behind the front seat headrests. When a confused Trishna asks Cooper why Nahwan Nafisah likes to watch the Disney Junior TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates all this time, Cooper adds that the characters Jake, Izzy and Cubby are the first things to come in mind when mentioning the series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. In addition, Prudence adds that the trio leaves Pirate Island every time because Captain Hook often stole their toys and other knick-knacks such as soccer balls, baseballs, skateboard and literally everything in between. Also, an excited Trishna is willing to meet Jake, Izzy and Cubby one day.
Elsewhere, full-time Audi technician Jake returns home from work as usual and he also picks up Izzy and Cubby from the car wash store, which is their workplace. The trio got to the recreational park in downtown Burlington, Vermont near the New York State border by the river. Upon arrival, the 3 siblings started to have their picnic together until a mysterious voice came out of nowhere and in goes Alia Syazleen, much to their shock. Given the fact that the scallywags haven't met Alia Syazleen before, the trio introduce each other. Realizing that Jake, Izzy and Cubby are the scallywag pals that Apple Bloom mentioned before, Izzy adds that Nahwan Nafisah is the woman the trio are familiar in. Nevertheless, the four pals have their picnic together.
Alia Syazleen Sleeps at Jake's House[]
After leaving the park, it's time to go home. Inside Jake's Audi A8 D5 4.0T Quattro, Syazleen is excited to have a sleepover with the scallywags themselves until she spotted a tiny bag around Izzy's neck until that happens to be Pixie Dust. Given the fact that Syazleen hasn't heard the word Pixie Dust before, Izzy adds that Pixie Dust is a magical golden glitter-like powder that grants the abilities of flight, leaving behind a confused Syazleen that the word Pixie Dust is commonly unheard in human logic. Izzy warns Syazleen that her Pixie Dust is used for emergency purposes only, leaving behind a dismayed Alia Syazleen wanting to try the Pixie Dust so badly.
Upon arriving at Jake's house, Sofia is currently not home yet and Syazleen is excited to have a sleepover party at his house. Given the fact that Syazleen hasn't heard the name Sofia before, Cubby adds that Sofia is Jake's wife who works as a Mercedes-Benz technician. Being unaware that Jake and Sofia are married, a speechless Alia Syazleen is excited to meet his children. Once Jewel, Sofia and her kids came back home the next morning, they enter the house, only to find Syazleen sleeping on the couch, all exhausted on a long day. An angry Sofia took out her bottle of water and pours it onto Syazleen, waking her up in the process. Due to being unaware that Jake and Sofia have children, Laura and Sean are excited to meet Syazleen.
David Hasselhoff Audition Show[]
Elsewhere, Amber, Bon Bon, Blueberry, Derpy, Dipper, Emelina, Hildegard, Huck, Lyra, Mabel, Cooper, Prudence, Sour Sweet, Sweeten Sour and Trishna attended an audition show hosted by American TV personality David Hasselhoff in Detroit, Michigan. Once Cooper announces to Hasselhoff that the Amber Crew are here for the audition, the Amber Crew starts to sing the song Cool Kids by Echosmith together. Once the song ends, Hasselhoff claims that he does not like it at first, but loves it as well, much to their joy. In addition, Hasselhoff applauds the Amber Crew and brings them to Ottawa, Canada.
Elsewhere, back in Stowe, Vermont, Sean is watching a video of the Amber Crew attending an audition show hosted by David Hasselhoff and singing the song Cool Kids by Echosmith in his laptop, much to his delight. When Cubby and the others came inside, Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Jewel and Sofia are amazed to see the Amber Crew making an audition onstage. Given the fact that Syazleen hasn't heard the name Princess Amber before, Jewel adds that Princess Amber is Sofia's big old stepsister who is the band's lead singer. A shocked Laura and Sean are unaware that their mother has a stepsister, claiming it Cinderella Territory. And thus, a delightful Syazleen realizes that the Amber Crew sounds so much fun to her.
Potion Nova and Photo Finish Reacts to Amber's Audition[]
At a house in Milford, Connecticut, a delightful Potion Nova enjoys an audition performed by the Amber Crew at David Hasselhoff's talent show at the auditorium in Detroit, Michigan. When her cousin Photo Finish came inside, Nova shows her a video of the Amber Crew performing an audition in Detroit, much to her shock. Also a curious Potion Nova spotted 2 siblings with brown hair: the male playing on piano and a female playing on banjo. Nevertheless, she and Photo Finish quickly scampered into the Hyundai Equus and started to depart.
Out on the open road, both the Audi A8 with Jake, Sofia and their children as well as the Nissan Maxima with Cubby, Izzy, Jewel and Syazleen onboard are on the run to Ottawa, Canada to catch a live concert performed by the Amber Crew. In the meantime, peace on the road has turned to mayhem once a Hyundai Equus with both Potion Nova and Photo Finish inside joins as well. Nevertheless, the whole convoy turns on the radio and jams to Bonnie Tyler's song Holding Out for a Hero.
Sleeping with Potion Nova and Photo Finish, The Amber Crew's Singing Live[]
After reaching the forest, Jake, Laura, Sofia, Sean, Cubby, Izzy, Jewel and Syazleen started to pitch tents until Potion Nova and Photo Finish showed up with their Hyundai Equus. Nevertheless, they continue pitching tents. Once nighttime falls, a curious Alia Syazleen is unaware that Laura and Sean have two grandmothers at once. Given the fact that Potion Nova and Photo Finish hasn't met Alia Syazleen before, Cubby adds that Syazleen is a full-time female race car driver who spends 70 years in the automotive industry. When a curious Photo Finish asks Jake that the Amber Crew adds two new members, he agrees with her question and the brown-haired siblings happens to be Dipper and Mabel Pines. Noticing that Nova hasn't heard the names Dipper and Mabel before, Jewel adds that Dipper and Mabel Pines are a group of siblings who plays on backing vocals, piano and banjo until Cubby gives Nova a DVD of the Disney Channel TV show Gravity Falls, leaving behind a speechless Potion Nova and Photo Finish. A shocked Potion Nova becomes mind-blown and cheers in joy that her prayers have been answered.
The next morning, a scene takes place at the Bonneville Salt Flats near the borders between the US states of Nevada and Utah where the Amber Crew are live performing Gary Barlow's song The Flood together and the 10 of them proceeded to Ottawa, Canada after finishing it. Back on the open road to Ottawa, inside Nova's Hyundai Equus, Photo Finish is watching the Disney Channel TV show Gravity Falls on the infotainment screen until a frustrated Potion Nova is unaware that the Amber Crew gets two new members, both being siblings and with brown hair. When a curious Nova asks Photo Finish about the square dots on Mabel's teeth, Photo Finish adds that the dots on Mabel's teeth are braces. Given the fact that Nova hasn't heard dental braces before, Photo Finish adds that dental braces are devices used in orthodontics that align and straighten teeth and help position them with regard to a person's bite, while also aiming to improve dental health.
Greg's Video Chat with Cooper, Prudence and Trishna[]
Eventually, at the Mane 10's house in York, Maine, Greg is having a video chat with his big brother Cooper on his laptop. When a curious Greg asks Cooper that the Amber Crew gets 2 new members, Cooper agrees his question until both Dipper and Mabel showed up. Given the fact that Greg hasn't met Dipper and Mabel Pines before, Trishna adds that Dipper and Mabel are the Amber Crew's two new members who plays on backing vocals, piano and banjo. Noticing that Prudence and the Amber Crew are on the run to Ottawa, Canada's capital, Greg promises her to meet them soon.
As the sun rises the next morning, the Mane 10 are having breakfast together without talking. When a curious Twilight asks Greg that the Amber Crew has new members, Greg says YES and given the fact that the Mane 10 hasn't heard the names Dipper and Mabel Pines before, Greg adds that Dipper and Mabel are the Amber Crew's new members who have brown hair, having a Ford F250 Super Duty Pickup Truck and a BMW M5 F90 until he goads at Applejack to watch the Disney Channel TV show Gravity Falls, much to her shock. He also adds that Cooper and Prudence are having a performance show in Ottawa, Canada, so the Mane 10 starts to depart.
Applejack Watches Gravity Falls, Dipper's Training Practice and Workouts[]
On the way to Ottawa, inside Applejack's Lexus LX600 F-Sport, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer are watching the Disney XD TV show Gravity Falls onscreen with Greg behind the wheel. After 2 hours, a concerned Sunset tells Greg that the TV show Gravity Falls does not make sense to her until a boastful Greg adds that the Disney XD TV show Gravity Falls is Cooper's favorite TV show during his adult life, which is what Cooper, Prudence and Trishna are up to all this time. When a confused Rainbow Dash asks Greg that Trishna is a sales associate at Fashion Flambé, Greg agrees. Given the fact that Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer hasn't heard the name Fashion Flambé before, Greg explains that Fashion Flambé is a clothes store located in Whiskview Mall, which is similar to Rarity's Carousel Boutique. Also, a terrified Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow and Sunset fears that Rarity may chop Greg to pieces for boasting, but much to his disbelief, he tells Sunset to ignore an angry Rarity.
Meanwhile, in Ottawa, Canada, Prudence teaches Dipper the two stick war dance in the multistorey car park. At a few moments, a bored Dipper Pines starts to sing Jon Bon Jovi's song Limitless inside the restaurant until the whole crowd caught his attention, impressing him in the process. Back at the rehearsal studio, the Amber Crew are practicing for rehearsals until Cubby, Izzy, Jake, Jewel, Laura, Nova, Photo Finish, Sofia, Sean, Syazleen and the Mane 10 showed up, much to their shock. As Dipper and Mabel came forward, an excited Greg and Hacky Zak are happy to meet Dipper and Mabel Pines for the first time. Given the fact that Rarity hasn't met Trishna before, she took a chance to do so. Even so, Amber took a chance to meet Sofia's kids Laura and Sean for the first time. Hildegard adds that their audition with David Hasselhoff looks amazing, much to Jewel's joy. Once the travellers are about to leave, Jewel wishes Amber and Sour Sweet a good luck.
Epilogue: Dipper's Dance Battle with Hasselhoff, A Great Scoop in Ottawa[]
The next morning, at the theater in Ottawa, Amber, Bon Bon, Blueberry, Derpy, Dipper, Emelina, Hildegard, Huck, Lyra and Mabel alongside Cooper, Prudence, Sour Sweet, Sweeten Sour and Trishna, all dressed up in war and astronaut outfits, are prepared for their show. From the first few moments, Dipper sings to Chris Martin's song A Sky Full of Stars and the whole audience enjoys it, except for Hasselhoff. This action prompts an angry Hasselhoff to confiscate the wooden stick and clothes as well as engage a stick battle between him and Dipper, but Dipper manages to defeat him all the way, much to the audience's joy. After the show ends, the film ends with Amber, Bon Bon, Blueberry, Derpy, Dipper, Emelina, Hildegard, Huck, Lyra and Mabel alongside Cooper, Prudence, Sour Sweet, Sweeten Sour and Trishna leaving Ottawa, followed by Cubby, Izzy, Jake, Jewel, Laura, Nova, Photo Finish, Sofia, Sean, Syazleen and the Mane 10.
After the post credits, a scene cuts back to the Mane 10's house in York, Maine where Greg explains his long story to the Shadowbolts about the Amber Crew's live performance onstage as astronauts and war people, much to Clio's joy. However, when a curious Sunny Flare asks Sour Sweet about two siblings with brown hair from the Disney XD TV show Gravity Falls and driving both a Ford F250 Super Duty and BMW M5 F90, Sour Sweet adds that the siblings themselves happens to be Dipper and Mabel Pines, much to their shock until the Amber Crew shows up with both the Ford F250 Super Duty and BMW M5 F90. Also, the film ends with Dipper and Mabel meeting the Shadowbolts, including Cadance and Shining Armor.
